Heather Wood is a General Partner at Cultivation Capital working with software technology companies. She worked in mergers and acquisitions for almost 20 years at Cequel III, Charter Communications and Monsanto, most recently as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at Cequel III. Her teams acquired and integrated dozens of companies in consolidating industries, primarily cable television and communications towers. These teams raised billions in bank debt, high yield debt and private equity, and led multiple exits, including an IPO, sales to private equity, and several leveraged buyouts with management remaining in place.
Heather has served several community organizations in board and advisory roles including Great Circle, Arch Grants Judging Committee, Washington University Olin Alumni Board, Danforth Plant Science Center Leadership Committee, Care to Learn, and Ardent.
Heather was recognized by the St. Louis Business Journal as a Most Influential Business Woman in 2010, has served on the Boards of The College School and Spirit of St. Louis Women’s Fund, and was a mentor for Prosper Startup Accelerator. Heather received her MBA from the Olin School of Business at Washington University.
