Grant is a General Partner at Cultivation Capital where he focuses on making AgriFood Tech investments. He manages and farms 7,000 acres of corn and soybeans in northwest Iowa. He spent 35 years on Wall Street as a Partner and Managing Director at Credit Value Partners, Credit Suisse and DLJ.
He is an active angel investor in AgTech startups and chairs the Growers Advisory Board for Impetus Ag, a company developing multiple topical and transgenic insect control products. His board service includes White Energy, an ethanol company.
Grant holds a B.S. from Iowa State University and an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan.
