Cultivation Capital Expands Team With New Hire

St. Louis, MO – July 30, 2015 Cultivation Capital is pleased to announce their newest hire, Allison Carmen. Allison is joining Cultivation Capital as the newest Principal of Tech Fund II.

Allison moved to St. Louis in 2009 from San Diego, and earned her MBA in 2011 from St. Louis University, with an emphasis in sustainability and entrepreneurship. She also holds a BS in Biology with an emphasis in Policy and Research, and is certified under NAUI as a Dive Master and CSU underwater researcher.

Allison is the Founder of Material Mix, a secure SaaS platform for financial services and asset management in the waste and recycling industry, and has received funding from Capital Innovators, Arch grants, and Startup Chile. She is a co-founder of WEST (Women Entrepreneurs of St. Louis), a Principal and co-founder of Female Entrepreneurs of the World (FEW), and serves as a mentor to other startups.

Allison’s entrepreneurial experience makes her a great asset to the Cultivation Capital team. Within this role, Allison will oversee the deal flow pipeline, as well as manage diligence efforts. Allison previously worked with Cultivation Capital, as a Senior Associate.
