In 2009, Allison received a BS in Biology from San Diego State University, and a certification under NAUI as a Dive Master and CSU underwater researcher. Allison moved to St. Louis and earned her MBA in 2011 from St. Louis University, with an emphasis in sustainability and entrepreneurship.

Allison is the Founder and CEO of Material Mix, a secure SaaS platform for financial services, an asset management in the waste and recycling industry, and has received funding from Capital Innovators, Arch grants, and Startup Chile. She is a co-founder of WEST (Women Entrepreneurs of St. Louis), a Principal and co-founder of Female Entrepreneurs of the World (FEW), and serves as a mentor to other startups.

In her free time, Allison volunteers at the National Building Arts Center in Sauget, IL and the VA Medical Center in St. Louis. She is an avid amateur photographer, NAUI dive master, and banjo enthusiast.
